Arrows and numbers on the left side indicate the molecular sizes of 23S and 16S RNAs in kilobases (kb). (C) Wild-type V. vulnificus carrying each fusion or the vector only (pKH0011) was grown in LBS medium supplemented with 3 μg/ml tetracycline, aliquots were sampled, and their cell masses (OD 595 ) and their bioluminescence (RLU) were determined.
