For miRNA detection the following primers were used: hsa-miR-744-3p (5′-CTGTTGCCACTAACCTCAACCT-3′), hsa-miR-744-5p (5′-TGCGGGGCTAGGGCTAACAGCA-3′), hsa-miR-21-3p (5′-CAACACCAGTCGATGGGCTGT-3′) or hsa-miR-21-5p (5′-TAGCTTATCAGACTGATGTTGA-3′) were used together with the universal reverse primer from the miScript PCR Starter Kit (Qiagen).
