    TM effects insulin-stimulated Glut4 translocation and expression and glucose uptake in insulin-resistant C2C12 myotubes.     Effect of SM16 on TGF-β-induced morphological changes and invasion  in vitro .  A.  4T1 cells were treated with rhTGF-β1 in the presence or absence of SM16 for 24 hr. Cells were then stained with FITC-conjugated phalloidin and visualized on a Nikon Eclipse TE 2000-U microscope at 1000× magnification.  B.  4T1 cells were plated in growth factor-reduced Matrigel invasion cell culture inserts for 24 hr in the presence of rhTGF-β1 with or without SM16.
