    Article Snippet: Coronal brain sections (8 μ m thick) were incubated with 3% hydrogen peroxide for 40 min at room temperature to inhibit endogenous peroxidase and then incubated with blocking buffer (4% Block Ace; Dainippon Sumitomo Pharma, Osaka, Japan) for 2 h. Following this, the slices were incubated with polyclonal rabbit anti-TNF- α antibody (1 : 200; Hycult Biotech, PB Uden, Netherlands) and monoclonal mouse anti-myeloperoxidase (MPO) antibody (1 : 100, Hycult Biotech) in 10 mmol/L phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) overnight at 4°C.
