Figure Legend Snippet: Overview of the design, fabrication and use of the AgroDiag porcine enteric coronavirus (PEC) multiplex planar immunoassay. (A) Manufacturing steps include functionalization of the wells of a microplate with a dextran layer before printing of the protein array in triplicate. (B) The assay protocol and working principle is similar to the solid-phase standard indirect ELISA. After the three typical incubation steps (serum sample, conjugate, and substrate), followed by microplate reading. The reaction was visualized as brown spots which intensity correlated with antibody levels to specific viral antigen target in the array. Four results are obtainable depending on incubation with a negative control, or samples from PDCoV, PEDV, TGEV inoculation groups. Scale bar corresponds to 1 mm. This kit called Ci-5, Multiplex Tumor Marker Quantitative Kit, is developed based on proprietary SG CapTM technology.. The Ci-5 has 3×5 format of microarray that contains five different antibodies for capturing multi-targets cancer biomarkers, AFP (Liver cancer), CEA (Colon cancer), PSA (Prostate cancer), CA125 (Ovarian cancer) and CA19-9 (Pancreatic cancer), which are approved by CE (Registration No. HL 60135402 0001). Article Snippet: Paper is an ideal candidate for the development of new disposable diagnostic devices because it is a low-cost material, allows transport of the liquid on the device by capillary action, and is environmentally friendly.. Today, colorimetric analysis is most often used as a detection method for rapid tests (test strips or lateral flow devices) but usually gives only qualitative results and is limited by a relatively high detection threshold.. Here, we describe studies using fluorescence as a readout tool for paper-based diagnostics. Article Title: Three-dimensional polymer networks and their use Article Snippet: .. Article Snippet: The detection of IgG/IgM antibodies is a crucial tool for the diagnosis of infectious diseases as they give specific information such as the stage of infection or when it approximately occurred.. In this work, a linear cryogel array (LCA) technology is described for the detection of IgG and IgM antibodies, indicative of a borreliosis infection in human sera.. The LCA consists of a transparent capillary filled with functionalized cryogel compartments.
