Osteotomy pins were inserted into the medial tibia and medial condyle and used to distract the joint with an ankle distractor (A). Two portals were established, one for the Nanoscope and one for a 5 cm cannula that was used to pass surgical instruments (A). Nanoscissors or Nanobiters were used to create a full‐thickness radial tear in the mid‐body of the medial meniscus, transecting roughly 80% of the meniscal width, from the inner margin towards the periphery (B).
