Recovery rates of spiking experiments using (A) MCF‐7, (B) MDA‐MB‐231, and (C) SHP‐77 cells. Of each cell line, either 1, 10, or 100 cells were spiked into 7.5 mL of HD blood. Experiments were performed in triplicate. Article Snippet: After an initial washing step with 20 mL of 0.1% Tween/PBS, the filter, which had been functionalized with streptavidin, was incubated with 1 μg/mL biotinylated anti‐EpCAM‐antibody (R&D Systems) or 1 μg/mL biotinylated anti‐EGFR‐antibody (clone B1D8, Biotium) at RT for 1 h. Subsequently, the filter was washed with 20 mL of 0.1% Tween/PBS, and residual Tween was removed by washing the complete filtering system with 100 mL PBS.
