ATCC plant pathogen erwinia amylovora strain atcc 49946
Fig. 1. Tree of the concatenated amino acid sequence of six type III secretion system (T3SS) Salmonella pathogenicity island 1 (SPI-1) structural proteins from bacteria associated with mammals (Burkholderia pseudomallei, B. thailandensis, Yersinia enterocolitica, Chromobacterium violaceum, Salmonella typhimurium, Escherichia coli 0157:H7, Shigella flexeneri, and Proteus mirabilis), insects (Sodalis glossinidius and Hamiltonella defensa), or plants (Xanthomonas albilineans, Erwinia tasmaniensis, E. amylovora, E. pyrifoliae, and Pantoea stewartii subsp. stewartii) using the maximum likelihood method and LG as the substitution model. Six T3SS SPI-1 structural proteins were used in this analysis in X. albilineans: XsaS/InvC/SpaI, XsaP/InvE/MxiC, XsaQ/InvA/MxiA, XsaX/SpaQ, XsaZ/SpaS, and XsaY/InvN/SpaR. The tree was constructed with sequences of the T3SS SPI-2 structural proteins of B. pseudomallei and H. defensa as an outgroup. Bootstrap percentages retrieved in 500 replications are shown at the nodes. The scale bar (0.2) indicates the number of nucleotide substitutions per site.
