Lyso-PAFs and glucosylsphingosine in cortexes of GD patients and control subjects. (A) Lyso-PAF(16:0), lyso-PAF(18:1), and lyso-PAF(18:0) in cortexes of controls (n = 3), GD1 ( n = 5), GD2 (n = 3), and GD3 ( n = 1) patients. (B) Glucosylsphingosine in cortexes of controls (n = 3), GD1 (n = 5), GD2 (n = 3), and GD3 (n = 1) patients. Lyso-PAF and glucosylsphingosine concentrations are presented as mean ± standard error of the mean (SEM). Data comparison for Lyso-PAF and glucosylsphingosine in controls, GD1, and GD2 was performed with Kruskal-Wallis test with Dunn’s multiple comparisons test as post hoc test. The statistical comparison of GD3 with other groups was not performed due to the small sample size of GD3. ns: not significant; ns: not significant; *: p < 0.05; **: p < 0.01.
