Figure Lengend Snippet: RAGE activation can lead to activation of NFκB, MAP kinases and STAT3, thus we expected to see reduction in levels of these molecules after its inhibition. Similarly, the levels of S100P and the anti-apoptotic molecule Bcl-XL can be affected by RAGE expression. No significant differences in S100P, phosphorylated STAT3ser727 or phosphorylated NFκB were seen for either cell line. A very modest, but statistically significant, increase in levels of phosphorylated Erk1/2 was seen in both cell lines. A slight increase in levels of Bcl-XL was seen in both cell lines, but was only statistically significant in the PANC-1 cells. Data shown is the average ± standard deviation of 4 independent experiments.
