Article Snippet: The MDA-MB-231 cells were cultured to ~30-40% confluence in 6-well plates and were transfected with miR-96 mimics or miR-96 inhibitors or RECK siRNA (Santa Cruz Biotechnology) at working concentrations using Lipofectamine 2000 (Invitrogen, Carlsbad, CA, USA), in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. miR- and siRNA-negative control (NC) were used as negative controls.
