Article Snippet: To evaluate the relative photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY), fluorescein dissolved in ethanol (PLQY = 0.91) was employed as a reference standard .The absorbance of the sample and the reference was measured using a UV-visible spectrophotometer (X-ma 3000, Human Corporation), and the photoluminescence (PL) spectra were collected using an optical spectrometer (OCEAN SR6, Ocean Insight) under excitation with a 455 nm LED light source (M455F3, Thorlabs).
