Cells were then harvested, RNA isolated, biotinylated sense-strand DNA synthesised and hybridised to mouse whole genome GeneChip ® ST Arrays (Affymatrix). A Venn diagram was then generated to illustrate the degree of overlap between genes identified by ChIP-SEQ as containing consensus, F/R-dependent C/EBP-binding sites and F/R-induced changes in MEF gene expression.
